Cue the Confetti, because I’m getting married.

Call us crazy, but our wedding party is huge and we wouldn’t want it any other way.  We are so grateful to have so many important people in our lives who have been a part of our past, our present, and who will continue to be a part of our future.  I just couldn’t put a number on something as important as choosing my bridesmaids and with friends like mine, it was such an easy decision to have all my besties by my side.

I remember being so excited to be asked to be a bridesmaid/maid of honor in several of my best friends weddings, so I knew that I really wanted to make something special now that it was my turn to be the bride.  Plus, I love a good excuse to get creative with my Cricut Explore machine and with a larger number of bridesmaids the DIY projects helped me stick to my budget. With the help of a few items from Etsy, Zazzle, and Amazon I decided to put together a bridesmaid box so that I could throw in several of my favorite ideas.

It all started when I found the cutest Confetti poppers on Etsy called “Cue the Confetti.” I actually ordered these right away because I knew I could think of something fun to do with them, I mean who doesn’t love confetti. The pink and gold confetti poppers later inspired the “instructions” that I included for each bridesmaid and my favorite part of the box.  (see photo below)

I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by including a mini bottle of champagne with the tag, “Pop the champagne, I’m changing my last name.” This item was probably inspired by my love for mimosas, I just wish we had all been together to pop the bottles.  I found the quote on Pinterest and the perfect little bags at Target to wrap them in.

Originally I thought about making a card to include, but when I found the perfect ones on Zazzle for a great price, I decided to make it easy and order them. They read “I can’t say I do, without you. Will you be my Bridesmaid?” and I really loved the design and quality of the cards. I wrote a personal message to my maid of honor and each bridesmaid on the back, to add my personal touch.

I thought finding a box to package everything in would be an easy task, but I was never able to find what I was looking for at any of the craft stores. Since I also knew I had to ship more than half of the boxes by mail, I had to look for something just the right size. Thanks to Amazon, I found the perfect boxes to package and ship.  They weren’t the prettiest at first look, but after adding some ribbon, a bow, and decorative shipping tape, I loved the final look.

I am seriously the luckiest bride to have all of these girls by my side and they exceeded my confetti expectations. Every single response from each bridesmaid reminded me of why I love them and why they are so special to me. Thanks to their amazing videos I was able to create this video that I can’t wait to look back on.

I could not be happier with my “Will you be my Bridesmaid” boxes.  This is just the beginning of all the fun that our wedding party is going to have with Norman and I.  Thanks for standing by our side, we truly could not say “I DO” without YOU!
